Match the trim, match the fascia or make them disappear: how we help you pick from the sample ring, and how HOA approval works.

Seamless aluminum gutters come in more than twenty-five factory baked-on colors, from white and almond through clays, grays, browns, bronzes and black, plus custom-painted coil for larger projects. The right choice is usually the one that makes the gutters disappear into the trim line, which is why we bring a physical sample ring to every estimate rather than asking you to pick from a chart on a screen.
SwiftHand Gutters is part of the same family as SwiftHand Painting, so when a home is getting new exterior paint and new gutters, we coordinate the colors and the schedule so the fascia is painted before the gutters go up and the gutter color is chosen against the actual paint.

Match the fascia or trim. The most common choice. White gutters on white trim, bronze on dark trim, clay on tan. The gutter reads as part of the trim and the house looks finished.
Match the roof. On homes where the gutter sits against a metal or dark roof edge, a gutter in the roof color makes the roofline continuous. Common in Park City and on modern homes.
Contrast on purpose. Black or dark bronze gutters on a light house, or copper on stone and timber, as a deliberate accent. Works best when the downspouts are placed with the same care.
Downspouts usually match the gutter, but on a light house with dark trim we sometimes match the downspouts to the siding so they disappear against the wall and the gutters to the trim so the roofline is crisp. Either way, elbows, straps and extensions come in the same colors.
Daybreak, Traverse Mountain, SunCrest, Corner Canyon, Promontory, Red Ledges and most newer subdivisions along the Wasatch Front restrict gutter colors, usually to a short list of approved shades, and Park City and the Salt Lake historic districts review visible changes. We carry the common approved colors, fill out the architectural review form and bring the sample for the committee.
For a trim color outside the standard range we order custom-painted coil, which adds $1 to $2 per foot and one to two weeks of lead time. Painting aluminum gutters after the fact is possible with a bonding primer but never lasts like a factory finish.
Compare the rest of the family: K-style, half-round, box and fascia gutters, five-inch vs six-inch, aluminum, steel and copper, and gutter colors. Or start at the gutter types overview.
White, bronze and black cover most of our installs, with clay and almond close behind on stucco homes.
Yes, with a bonding primer and exterior paint, but custom-painted coil at install lasts longer and costs about the same.
Yes. SwiftHand Painting and SwiftHand Gutters share scheduling, so fascia repair, paint and gutters happen in the right order.
The baked-on finish is warrantied against fading and chalking for twenty years or more. Dark colors on south-facing runs show dust and water spots more, which a rinse clears.
