Three hundred inches of snow, metal roofs and design review. Served weekly with Heber and the Wasatch Back.

Park City gutters are a different trade from valley gutters. Old Town, Deer Valley, Park Meadows, Prospector, Thaynes Canyon and the Snyderville Basin neighborhoods from Pinebrook and Jeremy Ranch to Kimball Junction, Silver Springs and Promontory see three to four times the snow of Salt Lake, roofs are steep and often metal, and the ice that forms at the eaves in January can flatten a light aluminum gutter. Many homes are second homes or rentals, so the system has to work with nobody watching it.
SwiftHand Gutters serves Park City every week on a Summit and Wasatch County route so mountain projects do not wait on a valley schedule. We install six-inch and steel gutters, snow guards, self-regulating heat tape with sensor controllers, and we handle the color and profile submittals for Park City design review and the basin’s HOAs.

Snow load decides everything. The gutter has to survive snow sliding off a steep or metal roof, the weight of the ice that forms when the roof melts and the air stays below freezing, and spring runoff that moves more water in a week than a valley home sees in a season. That means six-inch profiles, .032 aluminum or steel, screw hangers on twelve to sixteen-inch centers, snow guards or snow fence above the gutter on metal roofs, and heat tape run in a zigzag along the eave and down every downspout, on a sensor controller so it only draws power when it is cold and wet.
Downspouts should discharge where melt will not refreeze on a walkway or driveway, which on many Park City lots means a buried line to daylight. Old Town’s historic district and the design-review rules in Deer Valley, Promontory, Glenwild and the Colony restrict color and sometimes profile; dark bronze, black and copper are the common choices against timber and stone. For second homes we recommend the maintenance plan with photo reports after each visit so you know the system is ready before the first storm.
Prices are published on our pricing page and are the same in Park City as anywhere else we work. Estimates are free, measured on site and itemized by the foot.

01
We measure every run, check the fascia and downspout placement, and leave an itemized quote by the foot. Most Park City estimates are scheduled within two or three business days.
02
We recommend five-inch or six-inch run by run, aluminum, steel or copper, and match a color to your trim from the sample ring.
03
Seamless gutters are formed in your driveway, hung on hidden screw hangers, pitched and sealed, with downspouts connected the same day.
04
We water test every section, haul away the old gutters and hand you the seven-year workmanship warranty.
Steel or heavy-gauge six-inch aluminum with snow guards above the gutter line. Light aluminum under a metal roof rarely survives more than a few winters here.
No. Park City is on our weekly Summit and Wasatch County route.
Before the first lasting snow, which usually means booking by early October. Fall fills quickly.
Yes. We prepare the color and profile submittal and have worked with most of the basin’s HOAs.
