Our home town. The shop is on South Creek Road, and most of our crews live within a few miles of your house.

SwiftHand Gutters is based at 7390 S Creek Rd in Sandy, so a Sandy estimate is usually the first or last stop of someone’s day and installs are rarely more than a week out. We have hung gutters on every kind of Sandy home: seventies split-levels in Crescent and Historic Sandy, eighties and nineties two-stories in Willow Creek, Pepperwood and Granite, custom homes above Wasatch Boulevard in Alta Canyon and Hidden Valley, and the newer builds along the Dimple Dell and Quarry Bend edges.
Sandy is also where we see the full range of Wasatch Front gutter problems in one city, because the east bench and the valley floor are a few minutes apart and get very different weather.

East of 1300 East, Sandy homes sit in the path of lake-effect snow funneled against the mountains and the cold air that drains out of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Alta Canyon, Hidden Valley, Granite and the Dimple Dell rim regularly carry eighteen to twenty-four inches on the roof after a storm, and north-facing eaves there stay shaded and frozen for weeks. Those homes get six-inch gutters on the main runs, three-by-four downspouts, hidden screw hangers on sixteen-inch centers and, on most of them, heat tape in the gutter and down the spouts.
West of State Street the snow is lighter but the trees are bigger. Historic Sandy, Crescent and the streets around Sandy City Hall have mature cottonwoods, sycamores and fruit trees that fill gutters every spring and fall, and the seventies and eighties housing stock there is on its second or third gutter system, often hung on spikes that have worked loose from the fascia. Replacement quotes in those neighborhoods always include a fascia check and we carry primed board on the truck.
Prices are published on our pricing page and are the same in Sandy as anywhere else we work. Estimates are free, measured on site and itemized by the foot.

01
We measure every run, check the fascia and downspout placement, and leave an itemized quote by the foot. Most Sandy estimates are scheduled within two or three business days.
02
We recommend five-inch or six-inch run by run, aluminum, steel or copper, and match a color to your trim from the sample ring.
03
Seamless gutters are formed in your driveway, hung on hidden screw hangers, pitched and sealed, with downspouts connected the same day.
04
We water test every section, haul away the old gutters and hand you the seven-year workmanship warranty.
Usually within one or two business days for an estimate, since the shop is in Sandy. Installs are typically scheduled within a week.
Most north- and east-facing eaves there do. Ice dams are routine above Wasatch Boulevard, and heat tape on a sensor controller is the standard fix.
