Five-inch handles most Utah homes. Go to 6-inch on steep roofs, large roof sections draining to one gutter, and bench or canyon-mouth homes with heavy snow and melt.
Seamless. Sectional gutters have a joint every 10 feet and every joint is a future leak. Seamless gutters are formed on site to the exact length of each run.

Yes, when the metal is sound. We remove old sealant, clean the joint and apply a freeze-thaw rated sealant. Resealed seams last 5 to 10 years.
Almost always spike-and-ferrule hangers loosened by snow load. Screw-in hidden hangers on 24-inch centers fix it permanently.
Twice a year: late spring after cottonwood season and late fall after leaf drop. Add a third visit under heavy tree cover.

If mature trees are within 30 feet of the roof, yes. Micro-mesh pays for itself against professional cleanings in about five seasons. With no trees, spend the money on heat tape or a maintenance plan instead.
Stainless micro-mesh. Screen guards let fine seed and needles through. We do not install foam or brush inserts.
No, but on an eave that already ices a guard gives ice a surface to build on. Heat tape routed under or through the guard solves it.
Heat escaping through the attic melts upper-roof snow, which refreezes at the cold eave. Attic insulation and ventilation are the permanent fix; heat tape keeps the eave and gutter draining in the meantime.
