One of the coldest valleys in Utah, with a building boom on top of it. Served weekly with Park City.

Heber City is one of the coldest inhabited places along the Wasatch Back. Winter inversions hold the valley below freezing for weeks, so any water that gets into a gutter in December stays there as ice until March, and frozen downspouts and ice dams are the normal condition rather than the exception. Red Ledges, Timber Lakes and the benches above the valley add mountain snow load on top of the cold. The city is also one of the fastest-growing building markets in Utah, with new subdivisions on the north and west sides every year.
SwiftHand Gutters serves Heber weekly on the same route as Park City and Midway. We install six-inch gutters with larger downspouts, heat tape on sensor controllers, snow guards on metal roofs, and we work with builders in Red Ledges and the north Heber subdivisions on new construction.

Ice first. Heat tape in the gutter and down every downspout, on a sensor controller that only runs when it is cold and wet, is the single most effective upgrade in Heber and we recommend it on most homes. Six-inch gutters and three-by-four downspouts resist freezing solid longer than five-inch, and downspouts should discharge well past patios and walks where refreeze creates a slip hazard; buried lines to daylight are common on sloped lots.
Snow load second. Red Ledges, Timber Lakes and the Midway bench get mountain snowfall, so .032 aluminum or steel, screw hangers on close centers and snow guards on metal roofs are standard there. Old-town Heber around Main Street has early-1900s homes that need fascia repair before new gutters go up. Red Ledges and several north Heber subdivisions have HOA and design-review color rules, usually dark bronze or black, that we handle with the sample ring and their form.
Prices are published on our pricing page and are the same in Heber City as anywhere else we work. Estimates are free, measured on site and itemized by the foot.

01
We measure every run, check the fascia and downspout placement, and leave an itemized quote by the foot. Most Heber City estimates are scheduled within two or three business days.
02
We recommend five-inch or six-inch run by run, aluminum, steel or copper, and match a color to your trim from the sample ring.
03
Seamless gutters are formed in your driveway, hung on hidden screw hangers, pitched and sealed, with downspouts connected the same day.
04
We water test every section, haul away the old gutters and hand you the seven-year workmanship warranty.
Self-regulating cable on a sensor controller draws power only when it is below freezing and wet. A typical Heber home spends $40 to $80 a winter on it.
