Davis County’s largest city, the Hill AFB neighborhoods and the wind corridor. Forty minutes from Sandy.

Layton is the largest city in Davis County and one of the broadest gutter markets we serve: east-bench homes against the mountains that take heavy snow and shade, the mid-century neighborhoods near Hill Air Force Base with a steady turnover of owners and renters, the central subdivisions from the seventies through the nineties that are due for replacement, and the fast-growing west side toward Syracuse and West Point on flat ground.
SwiftHand Gutters serves Layton weekly on our northern route with Kaysville, Syracuse, Clearfield and Weber County. We replace tired gutters with .032 gauge seamless aluminum on screw hangers, repair fascia, install heat tape on the bench, and handle the wind that comes through the Weber Canyon gap.

The east wind reaches Layton through the Weber Canyon and Adams Canyon gaps, so gutters here go up on screw hangers at close centers with downspouts strapped at every elbow, the same as Farmington and Kaysville. The east bench above Highway 89, including the Kays Creek and Adams Canyon neighborhoods, gets lake-effect snow and cold shade; six-inch gutters, larger downspouts and heat tape on north-facing eaves are standard recommendations there.
Central and west Layton are mostly about replacement and drainage. Seventies through nineties gutters are sagging and under-spouted, and the flat lots on the west side send roof water back to window wells unless downspouts are extended or buried. The neighborhoods around Hill Air Force Base see frequent ownership changes, and we work with landlords and property managers on the maintenance plan with photo reports. Many newer west-side subdivisions have HOA color rules.
Prices are published on our pricing page and are the same in Layton as anywhere else we work. Estimates are free, measured on site and itemized by the foot.
