Newer subdivisions, HOA color rules and flat lots that need real drainage. Fifteen minutes from Sandy.

Riverton grew fast between 2000 and 2020, and most of its homes are two-story family houses on flat quarter-acre lots in subdivisions with HOA architectural rules. The gutters that came with those homes were builder-grade: five-inch, light gauge, with downspouts that end at a splash block two feet from the foundation. Twenty years on, they sag, overflow in spring and dump water into window wells.
SwiftHand Gutters is fifteen minutes away in Sandy and handles Riverton as part of our southwest valley route with South Jordan, Herriman and Bluffdale. We replace builder gutters with .032 gauge seamless aluminum, upsize the main eaves, match HOA colors, and get the water away from the house.

Drainage is the Riverton problem. The west side of the valley has flat lots and heavy soils, and roof water that lands near the foundation goes into the window well and the basement. Nearly every Riverton estimate we write includes longer extensions or a buried downspout line with a pop-up emitter in the lawn. Wind off the Oquirrhs and across the open ground near the Mountain View Corridor adds strapping and hanger spacing to the list.
The other common job is matching. Riverton HOAs specify gutter colors, and homeowners adding a patio cover, a garage or a basement walkout need new runs that match the existing profile and color. We form the gutter on site and carry the common HOA shades. Most Riverton homes have little mature tree cover yet, so guards are a lower priority than drainage, though the older streets near Riverton City Park are the exception.
Prices are published on our pricing page and are the same in Riverton as anywhere else we work. Estimates are free, measured on site and itemized by the foot.

We measure every run, check the fascia and downspout placement, and leave an itemized quote by the foot. Most Riverton estimates are scheduled within two or three business days.
02
We recommend five-inch or six-inch run by run, aluminum, steel or copper, and match a color to your trim from the sample ring.

Seamless gutters are formed in your driveway, hung on hidden screw hangers, pitched and sealed, with downspouts connected the same day.

We water test every section, haul away the old gutters and hand you the seven-year workmanship warranty.
Almost always a downspout discharging too close to the foundation on flat clay soil. A longer extension or a buried line to a pop-up emitter fixes it.
Yes. We carry the common HOA colors and bring the sample ring to the estimate.
If they are sagging along several runs or overflowing every spring, replacement with .032 gauge and upsized eaves is usually the better spend. We will quote both.
Yes, on the same southwest valley route as Riverton and South Jordan.
