Pricing by home size and stories, what a visit includes, and when a maintenance plan or guards cost less than paying per visit.

Professional gutter cleaning in the Salt Lake area costs $150 to $250 for a single-story home and $200 to $400 for a two-story home. The price depends on linear feet of gutter, the number of stories, roof pitch and how much debris has built up; a home under mature cottonwoods that has not been cleaned in three years costs more than a tidy rambler cleaned every fall.
Every SwiftHand cleaning includes hand removal of debris, a flush of every downspout, a check of hangers, seams and pitch, and before-and-after photos sent to your phone. We do not blow debris onto the lawn or leave it in bags for you to deal with. Small repairs found during cleaning are quoted on the spot. See the gutter cleaning service page for the process.

| Home | Typical linear feet | Price per cleaning |
|---|---|---|
| Single-story, up to 1,800 sq ft | 120 to 160 ft | $150 to $200 |

| Two-story, up to 2,500 sq ft | 160 to 220 ft | $200 to $300 |

| Three-story, walk-out basement, roof over deck | Varies | Quoted after a look |
| Homes with micro-mesh guards | Any | Roughly half the open-gutter rate |
Heavily neglected gutters, gutters packed with ice-compacted debris, and homes with underground drain lines that need flushing are quoted after a quick look; the add-on is usually $50 to $150.
| Option | Cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| One-time cleaning | $150 to $400 per visit | Occasional need, selling a home, after a storm |
| Maintenance plan (spring and fall) | $130 to $340 per visit, member rate, priority fall scheduling | Homes under trees that need cleaning every year |
| Micro-mesh guards | $2,900 to $4,800 once, then little or no cleaning | Anyone tired of paying per visit; pays back in about five seasons |
The maintenance plan takes fifteen to twenty percent off the per-visit rate and puts you first on the schedule in the two weeks before the first snow, which is when every ladder in the valley is booked. The guard cost page has the full payback math.
Twice a year on most lots: late spring after cottonwood season and tree flowering, and late fall after leaf drop but before the first lasting snow, which along the Wasatch Front usually means late October to mid-November. Homes with pine or spruce overhead shed needles all year and often need a third visit. Gutters that go into winter full of leaves freeze into a solid block, and that block is what pulls hangers loose and backs water under shingles.
A $75 cleaning that blows debris onto the lawn, skips the downspouts and sends nobody up to look at the hangers is not the same service. The downspout flush is the part that prevents the basement flood, and the inspection is what catches a pulled hanger before the ice does. Our crews are insured for ladder work, which matters if someone falls off your roof.
Usually $200 to $400 in the Salt Lake area, depending on linear feet, pitch and debris.
No. We need exterior access and a hose spigot, and we send photos when the job is done.
Yes, roughly half, because the visit is a rinse and inspection rather than a hand cleaning.
Always. Every downspout is flushed and we confirm it drains at the bottom.
We photograph it and quote the repair before leaving. Small fixes such as resealing a corner can often be done the same visit.
