What the common repair tickets actually cost, the minimum service call, and the point where repair stops making sense.

Most gutter repairs in the Salt Lake area cost between $150 and $600. Our minimum service call is $150, which covers the trip and the first hour, and that hour fixes a surprising number of problems: resealing a leaking corner, re-hanging a run that pulled away in an ice storm, reattaching a downspout the wind took. Bigger repairs such as replacing a long section or a crushed downspout run higher but rarely pass $1,000 unless the fascia behind the gutter has rotted.
Every repair starts with a look at the whole system, because the leak you see is often a symptom of pitch or hanger problems elsewhere. We quote the repair, note anything else we found, and tell you plainly if the gutter is close enough to the end of its life that replacement is the better spend.

A good rule: if the repair quote is more than a third of a replacement quote, or if this is the third repair on the same gutters, replace. Aluminum gutters older than twenty years, systems hung on spikes that have worked loose along several runs, and gutters with rust-through or multiple split seams are usually past the point where sealant and hangers help. Our estimator will give you both numbers so you can decide.
Wind, hail and ice-collapse damage is often covered by homeowner’s insurance. We photograph the damage, write the repair quote in the format adjusters expect, and can meet the adjuster on site. See emergency gutter repair for storm response.
Repair estimates are free. If you book the repair, the $150 minimum covers the trip and the first hour of work.
Yes. A single corner reseal usually falls within the minimum service call.
Usually, if the fascia is sound. We replace the nails with screw hangers and reset the pitch. If the fascia is rotted we repair it first.
Same week in most cases, often next day for a gutter that is hanging or a downspout that is dumping at the foundation.
Sometimes, for a single problem. If several runs are failing, replacement is usually the better spend, and we will show you both prices.
